"The Talk of the Town"

Q - What is Tumble Town Bus?
A - Tumble Town Bus is a custom designed gym on wheels that has age appropriate physical education equipment for children 2 to 6 yrs. old.  We bring physical education to preschools, day cares and private schools on a weekly schedule.  Tumble Town Bus is also available for special events and parties to individuals and companies.

Q - How can I get Tumble Town Bus to come to my child's preschool?
A - Bringing Tumble Town Bus to any preschool is left up to the preschool, but many have seen that Tumble Town Bus is a great draw to bring additional students to their school.  Some parent groups have put a lot of pressure on the schools to get the bus to come.

Q - What is the cost for Tumble Town Bus?
A - Generally Tumble Town Bus goes to each school once per week.  The classes are approximately 10 to 12 students per class with classes lasting about 30 minutes.  The cost is, additional above the preschool fees, $10.00 per student per week or $40.00 per month, if paid monthly.  Less than monthly is $15.00/class.  There are discounts for multiple family members and discounts for paying monthly by credit or debit card.

Q - How is billing handled?
A - Billing is usually direct from Tumble Town Bus and normally is not billed with preschool costs.  We can work with the school if they want something different.  We sometimes use the school cubbies to get billing and other information to parents.

Q - What happens if I'm late in paying tuition billing?
A - We will allow one grace class in good faith if parents pay monthly.  If payments are later we will send children back to class.  This is very disappointing for the child and it usually doesn't happen very often.  Returned check fee is $20.

Q - What type of equipment is on the bus?
A - Equipment - Tunnels, climbing items, bars, slides, trampoline, balance beam, whopper hoppers, monkey bars, dance, hopscotch, parachute, music, basketball hoop, zip line, bean bags, swings, ropes, rock wall, and recognition.

Q - Who establishes the lesson plans?
A - Lesson plans are completed by the coaching staff so children develop different muscle groups, coordination skills, motor skills, and their self confidence.

Q - Does my child need additional exercise?
A - As parents we worry about our physical activities but forget our children.  Tumble Town Bus has two to three instructors per 10 to 12 children making sure that each child gets individual instruction from trained professionals that actually instruct beginning gymnastics.  You will actually see a difference in their self confidence and coordination.

Q - How do you get all that equipment on a bus?
A - All the equipment is not on the bus at one time.  Equipment is changed out every week or two depending on the lesson plans and the children's ages.  Some pieces of equipment are built-in and always on the bus.

Q - My child is only 2 will they be in classes with 5 yr olds?
A - Our classes are split according to age.  We will only combine 2 and 3 year olds and 4 and 5 year olds.

Q - There are only a few children at our school interested in Tumble Town Bus - Will you come to school for only a few children?
A - We need about 20 children in order to justify stopping and setting up the bus.

Q - What is the Piggy Bank Program?
A - The Piggy Bank Program is a way that friends, family and grandparents can pay for a child to attend Tumble Town Bus.  They pay into a credit account.  They can pay monthly, quarterly, or annually.  Call the office for details.

Q - My child is only 2, will they actually be able to do many activities?
A - We have equipment for each age group on the bus.  There are activities that they can do and we will add some additional activities that will challenge them.

Q - What if my child is sick on Tumble Town Bus day?
A - Unfortunately, we can not give refunds or credits due to sickness, a credit or make up session will be give anytime Tumble Town Bus can not come due to our technical difficulties.

Q - What if school is cancelled?
A - We follow the same schedule as the public schools in your area.  We will also follow the same vacation and holiday schedule.  Credit will be given for any of these days.

Q- Can my child attend Tumble Town Bus less than monthly?
A - We will try to accommodate those that can not attend regularly as room allows but this could cause the school to lose it's time slot, and possibly the bus stopping at all.

Q - Are the children ever transported on the bus?
A - Classes take place on the bus but the bus never transports children.  The bus has heat and A/C so rain or shine, hot or cold, the time is always right for Tumble Town Bus.

Q - What if there is an emergency?
A - We will follow the operation plan of the school so there is no confusion.

Q - What if our company or organization would like to have Tumble Town Bus come for a Saturday?
A - There are a limited number of slots available for these activities.  Look under parties for cost and details.

Q- I have been told that my child is borderline type 2 diabetes; can Tumble Town Bus help this health issue?
A - The answer is absolutely.  Tumble Town Bus is a chance for parents to bring something extra to your child and we teach them self-esteem, self-confidence and introduce to them that "exercise is fun".  They need to get up and get moving.

Q - I'm a little concerned about the waiver of liability I'm required to sign?
A - Our insurance company requires us to have a signed release from every child before they can get on the bus.  Without a release your child will not be allowed on the bus.  Your child will be far safer than on any playground with our trained staff.
